Kick-off Meeting at the National University of Battambang (May 16-17, 2025)

The two-day event brought together stakeholders from academic institutions, agricultural cooperatives, NGOs, government bodies, and international agencies in order to introduce the SmartAgriCambodia project: objective, activities and partners. The event opened with speeches from the Rector of the National University of Battambang (NUBB), the Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic, and the Deputy Governor of Battambang. They highlighted the importance of international cooperation, skills training, and research-driven solutions to improve Cambodia’s agriculture sector.
